Revelation 2:2-5 & Galatians 6:7-10

weary landscape

I know your works, your toil and your patient endurance, and how you cannot bear with those who are evil, but have tested those who call themselves apostles and are not, and found them to be false. I know you are enduring patiently and bearing up for my name’s sake, and you have not grown weary. But I have this against you, that you have abandoned the love you had at first.

Remember therefore from where you have fallen; repent, and do the works you did at first. If not, I will come to you and remove your lampstand from its place, unless you repent.

I need this as a reminder, because I think it is very wearying to be a member of a church that denies at various levels, by words and actions, the divinity of Christ and the understanding of His Word. Which leads me to Galatians 6:7-10:
Do not be deceived: God is not mocked, for whatever one sows, that will he also reap. For the one who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life. And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up. So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith.

Of course, I still don't know whether to go or stay, so I suppose that means stay for now (at least until September 30 - the last and final chance for definitive action).
